As Project Manager, Northern Logistics Inc. helped the Kashechewan Health Services secure funding for the renovation and extension of the Kashechewan Nursing Station. We also managed the construction project through to its successful completion.
Construction Cost: $2.800.000
Client: Kashcchewan Health Services / Health Canada.
Status: Project was successfully completed in early 2004.

KASH HEAD START CENTRE

Status: The project is currently on hold.
Project Highlights
The Head Start Centre will help in the development of local preschool children.
The building is approx. 2,400 ft² prefabricated building which will sit on a ground screw pier system making it much easier to move should the community relocate.
Space for 21 preschool children will be available as well as a family resource center.
Business Consulting
We help small businesses develop marketing, and operational plans, as well as help with soliciting funding for their projects.
Shania Twain Interpretive Centre
Northern Logistics Inc. developed and marketing plans for the Shania Twain Centre. This $11 million project was subsequently approved and received over $5 million in government funding.
Features: Interactive multimedia displays, live concert simulations, a backstage concert experience, interactive musical exhibits, Shania Twain memorabilia and much more.
Size: The Centre is 11,500 ft² which incudes a 4,000 ft² exhibit space featuring a 1 200 travelling exhibit space and a 1,000 ft² retail area, as well as, a 1,500 ft² foyer area.
Status: The Centre opened June 30th, 2001.

La Garderie Clin D'Oeil, 20 independent living center for community seniors, embarked renovation project. It transformed the Central Wing of the former hospital into additional living suites. Northern Logistics Inc. completed the feasibility study and business plan for this project.

Spruce Bill Lodge, 20 independent living center for community seniors, embarked renovation project. It transformed the Central Wing of the former hospital into additional living suites. Northern Logistics Inc. completed the feasibility study and business plan for this project.

Status: The wing was renovated in 1999 to accommodate more seniors. We are so glad to report that the estimated number of clientele was realized as projected in the study.

Feasibility Study for Mill Rate Lumber
The price of lumber along the James Bay coast is almost double the price of lumber in Timmins. Pasico Development Corporation decided to explore the possibility of supplying lower cost lumber to stimulate their economies I help improve their living conditions. Consequently, Pasico commission ed Northam Logistics Inc. to study the viability of supplying, mill rate lumber to Aboriginal communities.
